This policy is written with reference to South African law — the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the Consumer Protection Act, and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. It is Fitness by Freddy's current operative policy, not a substitute for independent legal advice on your specific circumstances.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
When you log in to your client or coach dashboard, we set a secure, httpOnly session cookie so you stay logged in as you navigate the site. This cookie is strictly necessary for the dashboard to work and cannot be switched off — it isn't readable by other websites or by scripts running on this one, and it carries no advertising or tracking payload.
2. No advertising or tracking cookies
Fitness by Freddy does not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies. Marketing pages (outside your dashboard) run a first-party, cookie-less page-view counter that records only the page path and referring site — never a cookie, never an identifier tied to you, and never anything from private dashboard pages.
3. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Clearing the session cookie will simply log you out of your dashboard.
