Programme Design Masterclass

Programme Design Masterclass

Available Now

Needs analysis, goal-based programming, hypertrophy/strength/fat-loss/sport-performance blocks, deloads, recovery weeks, progression/regression, client adherence.

Who this course is for

Coaches who have completed the foundational Academy courses and want to synthesise that knowledge into real, complete programme design.

What you'll learn

  • Translate needs analysis directly into programme architecture decisions.
  • Guide an honest training-goal trade-off conversation with a client.
  • Design hypertrophy, strength, fat-loss and sport-performance blocks.
  • Schedule and structure deloads and long-term, multi-block plans.
  • Apply progression and regression as deliberate programming tools.
  • Design programmes that respect real client constraints and adherence capacity, not just theoretical optimality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to complete other Academy courses first?

Completion of Personal Training Foundations and Exercise Physiology and Performance is strongly recommended, since this course assumes those foundations and synthesises them into real, complete programme design. Sports Conditioning is recommended specifically for the sport-performance block content.

Is this course just repeating what earlier Academy courses already covered?

No. Earlier courses teach individual physiological principles and testing methods; this course teaches the practical synthesis skill of translating a completed needs analysis into specific programme architecture, and designing complete, sequenced mesocycles for hypertrophy, strength, fat-loss, and sport-performance goals — content genuinely new to this course.

Does this course only cover single training blocks, or long-term planning too?

Both. Alongside detailed guidance for designing each specific block type, this course covers deload placement across different block types and genuine multi-year, long-term planning — sequencing blocks across a client's evolving goals and life circumstances over an extended coaching relationship.

Will this course tell me the one 'correct' way to design every programme?

No. A recurring theme throughout this course is that programme design must be matched to each specific client's genuine circumstances, goals, and demonstrated adherence capacity — including the closing module's central principle that a 'good enough, consistently followed' programme reliably outperforms a 'theoretically ideal, inconsistently followed' one.

How long does the course take to complete?

Most learners complete it in around 16 hours of study across the 8 modules, at your own pace, with lifetime access to the content, manual, and quizzes for the duration of your enrolment.

How is the course assessed?

Each module has its own short quiz. The course concludes with a final certification exam combining multiple-choice, multiple-answer, scenario, short-answer, and case-study questions, marked against a published passing standard.

What happens if I fail the final exam?

You get one free retake at no extra cost. If you don't pass on the second attempt, you'll need Coach Freddy's approval before trying again, to make sure further attempts reflect genuine additional preparation.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. Once you pass the final exam, Coach Freddy issues a personalised, watermarked PDF certificate with your name and a unique certificate number, downloadable from your Academy dashboard.

Do I get a downloadable manual, or is everything only online?

Both. All content is available online through the lesson viewer, and you can also download a full branded course manual covering the entire syllabus as a PDF for offline study or as a permanent reference.
